LTAP 101 – Preliminary Agenda

LTAP 101 is designed for newcomers to the LTAP/TTAP community, but LTAP/TTAP veterans are welcome to attend as a refresher and share their experience with new staff.

During LTAP 101 you will network with your peers, learn more about the PAR/CAR forms, meet with experienced staff from other centers and have lunch with the National LTAP Association (NLTAPA) executive committee and members of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). LTAP 101 will provide you with tools to be more effective and contribute to your LTAP/TTAP center.

LTAP 101 is sponsored by the LTAP/TTAP Clearinghouse.

Requires an additional registration fee.

Monday, July 23
8:30-9:00 a.m.Welcome and Introduction to LTAP/TTAP
Participants will learn about the structure and mission of LTAP/TTAP from FHWA and NLTAPA.
9:00-9:15 a.m.Overview of the LTAP Strategic Plan
9:15-9:30 a.m.Break
9:30-10:30 a.m.The Different Centers of LTAP/TTAP
Attendees will participate in roundtable discussions with LTAP/TTAP staff at centers that are similar to their own – including small, large and medium sized centers affiliated with a university or state department of transportation.
10:30-11:15 a.m.Best Practices for the PAR & CAR Forms
LTAP/TTAP center staff that are responsible for the Program Assessment Reports and Center Assessment Reports will share some of their best practices for keeping records throughout the year and filling out the annual reports.
11:15-11:30 a.m.Break
11:30-12:00 p.m.Review of the LTAP/TTAP Website
The LTAP/TTAP Clearinghouse staff will give you a virtual tour of the new website and will discuss current and future features of the site that can help you.
12:00-1:00 p.m.Lunch with the NLTAPA Executive Committee
1:00-1:45 p.m.LTAP/TTAP Resources and Partners
LTAP/TTAP center and FHWA staff will provide an overview of the program's strategic partners and resources and materials that are available to all centers.
1:45-2:45 p.m.Occupational Roundtables
Attendees will participate in one of three occupational roundtables (communications/newsletters, operational/administrative or training) that will meet with current LTAP/TTAP centers staff to discuss issues related to their positions.
2:45-3:30 p.m.Sound Off!
Attendees will share highlights from their roundtable discussions and also have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on current LTAP/TTAP issues.

Registration Information

The cost to attend this event is $50 if you register by June 29 and $60 after June 29, 2007.
